kvCore pulls information in from REsource Center to help you keep things up-to-date. Those items syncing include NAME, CONTACT INFORMATION, BIO, AGENT PHOTO, AND SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS.
Therefore, you must make sure those items are just as you want them in REsource Center - it's something you can do now to PREPARE and save time once you're in!
> WHAT PULLS FROM RESOURCE CENTER?
Name, Contact Information, Bio (About Me), Agent Photo, and social media links.
> HOW OFTEN?
The sync runs constantly throughout the day. Changes made in the REsource Center appear in kvCORE, on average, within 10-15 minutes.
> HOW DOES IT WORK?
Synced fields will be locked from editing within kvCORE. If changes need to be made, make them in REsource Center and it will update in kvCORE within 10-15 minutes.
#2 - PREP YOUR CONTACTS
> COMPILE YOUR LIST
Contact management is the meat and potatoes of kvCore. The first step in prepping your contacts is getting your list together. That could mean exporting your contacts from your current CRM or building a list from scratch. You can choose the dropdown that best pertains to you from the list below.
> CHECK IT TWICE
Next, review the information on your list carefully to make sure every contact has an email address, phone number, and physical address. At a minimum, every contact must have either an email address or phone number. If both are missing, the contact will not be imported. We recommend that you use the applicable import template as a guide for formatting your existing data file or when starting from scratch.
> KNOW YOUR IMPORT OPTIONS AFTER LAUNCH
When it comes time to import your contacts into kvCORE, you have two options: let them handle it for you to save time and avoid incorrectly importing your data, or import the contacts yourself to retain full control over the process. We recommend you take advantage of the kvCORE team who are experts at importing data. You can even schedule a call with them before completing your import so you can review your file and ask questions about what will happen upon import. We will talk more about that when it's time.

Export your Contacts from your current CRM. Review the fields and ensure they follow the below criteria:
The names should be split into two fields: First Name, Last Name
The address should be in four fields: Street, City, State, Postal Code
AT MINIMUM, your data should contain at least the first name, last name, and email address or cell number for texting.
OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED - Add a column called "Contact Status". Complete the column for each contact using the values provided in kvCore-BHHS Connect. Those values are: Sphere, Prospect, New Lead, Active Lead, Client, Contract, Closed or Archived. We highly recomend taking the time do complete this step. Some of kvCore's automation is tied to the Contact Status and is valuable to have - do it now, or do it later!
OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED - Add a column called "Deal/Lead Type". Complete the column for each contact using the values provided in kvCore-BHHS Connect. Those values are: Buyer, Seller, Renter, Agent and/or Vendor.
OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED - Add a column called "Hashtags" and modify values as desired. Hashtags are a way to further sort your contacts and communicate with them. For example, some hashtags may be, but are not limited to: relocation, va loan, first time buyer, farm, downsizing, etc. That will allow you to send out communication to just your "relocation" or "farm" clients.

You HAVE to block off time in your calendar to learn. Just do it. Make sure to complete the ‘Agent Quick Start’ training which is available in KvCORE’s Learning Portal. It’s a very thorough option that you can start and stop as your schedule allows.
Also, our Marketing Department and support staff are here to support you AND kvCore has a fantastic library of resources for you; visit the "Training" tab of this website for those options.
Remember that you don’t need to be an expert or know about every little feature in the platform to grow your business using its tools.
Choose 2 or 3 features to focus on and start there. As you get in the habit of using them over the month or so, you can begin to incorporate a few more features until kvCORE is running at full power for your business.
